Situation: The existing paint at the facility was deteriorated and corroded. A water analysis found a high level of chlorides in the water, which increased the rate of corrosion.

Scope: Goodwest provided the labor, equipment, material and insurance to perform the work on site. Pressure wash w/ Chlor-Rid rinse solution @ 3500-5000 psi. Abrasive blast bare steel & corroded areas per SSPC-SP-6 commercial blast. Apply 1-coat Carboline 890VOC (Color: Dunes Tan) @ 6-8 mils DFT. Apply 2nd coat (wash plant only) @ 6-8 mils DFT. Inspect and verify as defect free.
