Goodwest Purchases Structural Coating Company
September 18, 2013 RANCHO CUCAMONGA Calif. ― Goodwest Linings & Coatings has purchased the assets of Green’s Industrial Painting, Inc., a structural coatings contractor that served western rock and cement plants and many other industries for more than 25 years. The equipment includes several customized trucks with sandblast equipment, compressors, spray equipment, pressure washers, self-retractable hoses, etc. mounted for optimal setup efficiency.
The result for Goodwest will be significantly reduced mobilization and rental expenses, as well as the ability to reliably complete large job scopes during the tight time frames that maintenance turnarounds demand.
Ryan Sears, President of Goodwest, said, "Now we can show up at job site and be ready to sandblast or coat within minutes of arrival. Downtime in the field due to unreliable equipment and setup delays can cost both Goodwest and the customer valuable time and money. This investment is a key part of our larger growth plan to expand both our field and shop coating capabilities."
